It is the middle of the night or a weekend, and a motor has stopped. Production is down, people are under pressure, and the first call needs to count.
Make the first call count
The more an engineer knows at the start, the faster they can understand the problem. A few details are worth having to hand before you call.
What to have ready
- Your site address, so the engineer knows where to go.
- The equipment make and model, from the nameplate if you can read it.
- What happened before it stopped, such as unusual noise, a trip, or a change in how it was running.
- What it is driving and what depends on it, so the urgency is clear.
- Who will be on site, and how to reach them.
Behind the callout
EES Electro-Mechanical provides a 24/7 emergency callout across the North West. Emergency work draws on the same services as everything else we do, including motor rewinds and repair, pump repair and overhaul, gearbox refurbishment, and drives and controls. Our engineers look for the root cause, so the job addresses more than the symptom.
